about accessibility

Our Accessibility effort follows the National Association of Home Builders (NaHB) Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) program.  This program teaches the remodeler the design, technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry.. “home modifications for the aging-in-place”.   Elite has on staff two fully certified professionals based on NaHB education requirements.  We understand the management skills that allow us to create a solid foundation in best business practices to ensure we define, design and build unique solutions to assist those that need accessible solutions.

Background.  The maturing of the U.S. Baby Boomer population is a huge opportunity for the remodeling industry. As this consumer group expands, more and more are interested in remodeling their home to fit their new lifestyle and abilities.  Millions of Americans are living longer and more active lives. And with their changing lifestyles, maturing Americans are also looking to revitalize their home environments. Identifying these opportunities and developing the skills to interact with 50+ customers allow us to ensure we can provide solutions for all lifestyles.

Our skills in this area focus on integrated home design features and product specifications that account for client differences due to circumstance, physical characteristics, health issues and aging.
